What type of camera you should choose?

Cameras are divided majorly into interior and exterior, and each can be classified as infrared or non-infrared camera. In particular, “infrared visibility” has an important meaning in infrared cameras. This signifies the distance that infrared light can reach, and when choosing a camera, it must be referred to.

Infrared cameras implement that function, by two methods.
First method is by using infrared LEDs, and the other method is increasing the sensitivity of CCD, to surveillance well at night times. Keep in mind that, for the former method, the camera cost is cheap, but uses a lot of electricity, and for the latter method, the camera cost is expensive, but it is power efficient.

-- Interior Camera.

1. DX-471C is a general dome camera.

2. DX-5701 is an infrared ray dome camera, and is the most universal interior camera. It is most suitable in places where the ceiling height is approximately 3m.

3. DX-1701 is an infrared ray dome camera, mostly used in places with relatively high ceiling heights (approximately 3.5m to 5m), or places such as vaults, automated teller machine, or counters.

4. DX-4482 Series is a variable focus dome camera, which can change the angle of view of surveillance area. Also, since it is a 3-axis camera, it can show images without tilting in any installation conditions.

-- Exterior Camera.

1. DX-7711 is an exterior, bullet-style infrared ray camera, and is most universally used camera. It has visibility of approximately 20m with 24 LEDs.

2. DX-017 is an exterior, bullet-style infrared ray camera, and has visibility of approximately 30m, with 30 LEDs. Also, it has the widest visibility out of all the LED cameras.

3. DX-771D is an exterior, bullet-style infrared ray camera. It has visibility of approximately 30m~40m, with 36 LEDs.

4. DX-511B/521B is a exterior, bullet-style infrared ray camera. It has visibility of approximately 40m~50m, with 48 LEDs. It is a night surveillance camera which uses infrared LED, and is a basic model camera for general customers.

5. DX-871 Series is an exterior, bullet-style infrared ray camera, used as a control camera. To increase the surveillance effectiveness even at night times, the LED and CCD cell’s sensitivity were increased, and shows clear image quality even at night times. It features 8mm lens.

6. DX-7982SS/7988SS/7988SS Series is a long distance infrared ray camera. Infrared visibility is approximately 60m~80m. Basic lens of 12mm is installed, but can be replaced with 16mm, 20mm and 24mm, and the product can recognize car registration numbers from a long distance

7. DX-972/982/992 Series is a variable focus infrared ray camera. To decrease the power consumption, the number of LEDs was reduced, and the performance of CCD was increased. The infrared visibility is approximately 20m~60m. It shows clear image quality even at night times.
