Dive X-CCTV (DVR Express) - laid into the ceiling after removal of the monitor

In this section how to set the recorder is described more detail for implementing company. 

Generally, correspondent monitoring monitor, control mouse or keyboard should be prepared additionally after purchasing CCTV recorder, DVR. But separated assignment of the recorder and monitor for monitoring equipment is not efficient spatially.

Furthermore, general method that CCTV is installed at the ceiling and the cables locates on the wall from the ceiling needs installation time and human power as well as looks messy externally.

In this section recessing the recorder on the ceiling without monitoring monitor for CCTV is described using fast remote multi search function, the most representative advantage of DVR Express.

This picture shows monitoring and searching is being conducted through a laptop on the desk while the recorder locating on the ceiling.

Because the site was a medical center where its interior work was perfectly completed, the recorder was decided to be recessed in the ceiling not to offer damage on the outer wall because there was no room for installing camera cable after installation of CCTV.

These setting procedure was processed as follows:

1. setting for remove monitoring monitor:

Firstly, install DVR Express Gold board on a used computer which use wireless lan.

2. Turn on the computer and install DVR Express software according to the installation instruction.
After checking the Internet is running, register DDNS and specify remote connect and search from other computer is possible, Following video shows these steps.

3. After specifying the network connection, remove the monitor and keyboard form DVR and close the cover of the PC with wireless lan card connected. Following picture shows the condition just before the recorder being recessed on the ceiling.

4. Recess CCTV recorder DVR on the ceiling and show the monitoring scenes together from the computer on below desk.

P.S :
In case the whole building is blacked out, it is difficult to turn on the DVR on the ceiling again.
To prevent this, additional setting before installing DVR on the ceiling can turn on the DVR automatically with the power supplied after blacking out.

After turn on the computer where DVR Express is installed, go to CMOS setting-up screen.
You can see CMOS setting-up screen by pressing F2 key or Del key repeatedly after turning on the computer.

The first one is the setting to start the computer again after power loss.
The second one is the setting to turn off the computer unconditionally at specific time.
